Dreamland – The Unique Sea & Lake Resort/Spa is an island resort on Hirundhoo in Baa Atoll, Maldives. White-sand beaches, a lagoon and lush vegetation surround accommodation set along the shore and over the water. Its distinctive freshwater biotope lake includes a chlorine-free swimming area bordered by mangroves, palms, water lilies and aquatic plants. The resort offers beach bungalows overlooking the shoreline and water bungalows with wooden decks and direct access to the lagoon. Guests can dine on international cuisine with lake or ocean views and relax at the island’s bars. Spa treatments in the mangrove garden provide another way to unwind. Activities include diving, snorkelling, water sports and excursions to neighbouring islands. The resort also arranges wedding celebrations, with options including a sunset dhoni sail and a romantic candlelit dinner. Arrival is by a scenic seaplane flight of approximately 35 minutes, or a domestic flight of approximately 20 minutes to Dharavandhoo Airport followed by a 10-minute speedboat journey. Seaplane transfers operate during daylight hours, and international flight details are required in advance to arrange transfers.
