About
LUX* South Ari Atoll is an island resort on Dhidhdhoofinolhu in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, surrounded by white-sand beaches and a broad lagoon. Accommodation ranges from beach pavilions and family pavilions to overwater villas, with selected villas offering private pools and direct access to the beach or lagoon. Eight restaurants and five bars offer a choice of international, Japanese, Italian, Mediterranean, Indian and Middle Eastern flavours. Guests can also enjoy Café LUX*, an ice-cream parlour and private dining experiences. LUX* ME Spa offers treatments in beach and overwater spa villas, alongside wellness sessions and a fitness centre. The island offers diving and PADI courses, snorkelling, watersports, tennis and excursions. Whale-shark trips with a marine biologist and marine-conservation activities introduce guests to the surrounding ocean. Families have access to the PLAY kids club and activities for younger guests. The resort arranges a seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport, with the published journey taking approximately 25 minutes. Its airport team assists arriving guests and provides access to a private lounge before the flight.
