Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) operates the Hulhumalé International Terminal, an international and local cargo terminal in Hulhumalé that has been operational since 2013. The ISPS-compliant facility helps relieve container congestion at Malé Commercial Harbour and serves urban development and economic activity in Hulhumalé. Its facilities include open storage for 500 TEUs, two warehouses, reefer-container plug points and a 180-metre berth. Services include loading and unloading for international and local cargo, bonded warehousing, logistics, imported-cargo delivery, export-cargo receiving, vehicle rental, express handling and re-shifting.
