OK Maldives organises liveaboard diving cruises in the Maldives aboard Equator. Operated by Ola Kala Maldives Pvt Ltd, the business is based in Malé, with its local contact at STO Trade Centre. Its itineraries cover the northern atolls, the south and central atolls, and the far south. Equator is a 30-metre vessel with air-conditioned double cabins, private bathrooms, shaded outdoor lounges, an indoor common room and a sun deck. A separate diving dhoni carries the tanks and equipment and takes guests to the dive sites. Air and Nitrox facilities are available on the dhoni. Cruises include dive briefings and guided diving, with two to three dives generally arranged each day according to the itinerary and divers’ experience. Guests can also visit local or uninhabited islands during their cruise. The team meets arriving guests at the airport and arranges their return transfer at the end of the trip.
