Soneva Fushi Resort

About

Soneva Fushi is a private-island resort on Kunfunadhoo in Baa Atoll, within the Maldives’ UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Tropical vegetation, white-sand shores and the surrounding reef shape a retreat focused on space, nature and shared island experiences. Beach villas are tucked into the jungle with beach access, while overwater villas offer direct access to the ocean. Larger signature villas provide space for families and groups to spend time together. Dining ranges from treetop settings to ocean views, with restaurants and round-the-clock treat rooms. Guests can explore the island’s creative side through The Glass Studio and Maker’s Place, where recycled materials become art, or learn about coral regeneration through Aquaterra. The Observatory offers stargazing with a resident astronomer. The Den provides a dedicated setting for younger guests, while wellbeing experiences include open-air treatments, movement and time in nature. Snorkelling, sandbank outings and island experiences add opportunities to discover the surrounding marine environment. The resort arranges transfers from Velana International Airport, including a direct seaplane journey described as 30 minutes. An alternative is a domestic flight to nearby Dharavandhoo Airport followed by a short speedboat transfer. Guests should arrange their preferred transfer with the reservations team in advance.
