About

Soneva Jani is an island resort on Medhufaru in Noonu Atoll, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Maldives. Its beach villas are tucked into the jungle with beach access, while overwater villas open directly onto the lagoon and feature retractable roofs. Signature villas offer additional space for families and groups, and selected overwater villas bring a playful touch with slides into the water. Days can be spent exploring the lagoon, snorkelling, playing tennis or enjoying water sports. The Den is a dedicated children’s space with a zipline, pirate ship and swim-up mocktail bar, while Cinema Paradiso offers outdoor film experiences. Soneva Soul provides wellbeing experiences, with movement, recovery and restorative practices forming part of island life. Dining ranges from sea-to-table and garden-to-plate cooking to breakfast over the water and meals with toes in the sand. Complimentary bicycles and tricycles help guests explore the island, with children’s seats, helmets and electric buggies available on request. A Barefoot Butler helps guests make the most of their stay. The resort arranges an approximately 40-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport. Another option is a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru International Airport followed by a 10-minute speedboat transfer. Guests should contact the reservations team at least 72 hours before arrival to arrange transfers.
