A palm-fringed island retreat in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, with lagoon villas, varied dining, Spa by Clarins and a bridge to Falhumaafushi.

About

The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah is a private-island resort in Gaafu Alifu Atoll in the southern Maldives. Palm-lined beaches, turquoise lagoons and tropical gardens create a secluded setting for couples and families. A private one-kilometre bridge connects Dhigurah with its sister resort on neighbouring Falhumaafushi. Spacious villas are designed to blend with the island landscape, with lagoon accommodation offering decks and private pools beside the water. Guests can relax on the beach, snorkel among coral reefs or explore the surrounding ocean on diving outings. Dining spans Indian Ocean specialities, Mediterranean tapas and contemporary Cantonese cuisine at Li Bai. The Spa by Clarins is set in tropical gardens and offers a dedicated wellness retreat. Children can join Kids Club activities, while marine discovery experiences and visits to the Earth Basket garden introduce guests to the island’s natural environment and freshly grown produce. The resort arranges arrivals through Kooddoo Airport. Its published transfer is a 55-minute domestic flight from Velana International Airport, subject to flight schedules, followed by a five-minute speedboat journey to Dhigurah.
